Best known for her interactive large-scale installations of hanging flowers within site-specific spaces, Rebecca Louise Law is one of our all time favorite artists. She comes from a flower background and uses her knowledge to completely transform spaces with a simple material set: flowers and wire. Check out some of our favorite pieces from her site.
Though a lot of her floral installations use many different flower varieties/colors, sometimes she uses only a single flower and repeats it over and over. This installation using tulips feels clean, serene, and elegant. How fun would it be to walk under it?!
The project pictured above is at Windsor Castle in Britain. Law was commissioned by the Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society to create these decorative rose columns at the front of the castle to celebrate a special gift that had just been given to the Queen.
Law has also done work for high end brands such as Tiffany & Co., Jimmy Choo, and Max Mara. She has such talent, and is a true joy to keep up with.
