A few weeks ago, Afloral contacted us about doing a collaboration with their silk flowers. We went through their inventory and picked some of our favorite blooms in a color palette that was exciting to us.  When they arrived in the mail, we were seriously impressed–silk flowers are not normally something we think of fondly. Many silk flowers look fake, but these ones were all gorgeous!

We always start with a chicken-wire vase, so why would we change it for silk flowers? The structure helps make a loose, organic arrangement.

When we get to this stage, it’s hard not to stop here. Simple green arrangements with a pop of texture in a berry or fruit is so natural and fresh.

Then again, adding flowers is a no-brainer.

The attention to detail in each bloom is what really impressed us. Look at those peonies!
